How Much Does a Golf Simulator Cost?
Short answer: a home practice bundle (launch monitor, net and mat) starts around $1,600. A complete home simulator package with an enclosure, impact screen, mat and projector mostly runs about $4,000 to $9,300. Premium camera and overhead packages land around $9,500 to $21,000, and Trackman iO and Foresight SIM IN A BOX packages run from about $12,000 to $31,000 depending on configuration. On top of that, plan for yearly software (from $0 to $1,100 a year) and possibly a PC.
All prices below were checked on manufacturer or retailer pages in October 2026. Package prices are shown as ranges because each listing has several configurations (enclosure size, screen type, mat size and so on). Prices change often, especially during sales, so click through before you buy. We haven't tested these setups hands-on.

Hidden costs
- Software after the trial ends: Trials we found run 14 days (SkyTrak packages), 21 days (Rapsodo) and 30 days (Foresight+ and Course Pass on SIM IN A BOX). Trackman's first year is included, per Rain or Shine.
- A PC that's left out of the package: Foresight's SIM IN A BOX Custom doesn't include one, and Trackman iO needs a Windows PC. PCs in our guides run $1,999-2,599.99.
- Framing for DIY enclosures: Carl's Place sells its DIY kit pipes separately, for $349.95-414.95.
- A projector mount and video adapter: $247.95 for Carl's flush mount, plus an HDMI adapter if you're mirroring a phone or tablet. For iPhone and iPad, Apple's Lightning ($49) and USB-C ($69) adapters both need an HDMI cable, sold separately. For Android, Rapsodo says to use a USB-C to HDMI adapter. We didn't price one.
- Screen wear: SkyTrak's warranty calls the impact screen "a consumable that will wear out over time."
- Returns: SkyTrak charges a 20% restocking fee on returns within 30 days. Shop Indoor Golf says all sales on its sim PC are final.
- Room fit: Ceiling height, width and depth decide which launch monitors work at all. See our ceiling height guide for the numbers, based on manufacturer specs.
- Sales tax and freight: None of the prices above include tax. Check each retailer's shipping terms for oversized items.
